All orders purchased and paid for by 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the very same day, unless there is a pink notice on our Home Page advising otherwise. Order received after 3.30pm are dispatched the very next day. Orders placed over the weekend, are dispatched on Monday, (accept on Bank Holidays when they will be posted on the Tuesday).

How To Purchase From Our Web Site;

Some customers are preferring to send us an order and cheque payment via mail. This is acceptable, however, we would suggest these customers e-mail a list of the goods they are requiring just before posting their order. In this way, we can reserve goods for customers who wish not to use the internet.

Choose you items - Simply choose the items you require, click the blue button to add to your shopping cart. The next screen allows you to alter the quantity of each item.  (You can delete and remove items from your shopping cart at anytime before checkout). All items in your shopping cart will show with pictures.

Due to the time delays that are experienced between items being placed in your shopping cart and the time it takes for you to check out, items may show as being available for sometime after they have already been purchased by another customer. Should this happen, we will contact you as quickly as possible and refund any payment made immediately.

Placing your order - Once you have filled your shopping cart you can place your order.  You will be directed to a secure page.  You are not required to create an account to place an order.

VAT Invoices - VAT is applied to our goods and UK postage & packaging fees and is included in the price shown on your screen. Customers who are also VAT Registered and who require a VAT Invoice will need to request one in the message box at checkout, our web site does not issue VAT invoices. Customers outside of the EC will automatically receive a refund of Sales Tax as their order is processed. 

Payment Options; Cheque - That being a cheque drawn from a UK Bank Account. Please make cheques payable to "Jewellery Enchantments", full details are provided if you tick the box for this method of payment.

No personal info has to be given, we will connect the e-mail with the order received by mail.

Postal Order - That being a form of payment available through UK Post Offices.   Please make your Postal Orders payable to "Jewellery Enchantments" and cross the Postal Orders. Please use the Cheque option on the payment option screen.

Direct Bank Transfer - If you would like to transfer funds directly from your bank to our bank, please choose this option and you will be provided with all the details required for you to make a direct transfer in your Order Confirmation E-mail. This option is only available to UK customers and funds must be received in GB Pounds Sterling. If you are an overseas customer holding a UK bank account, please e-mail us before checking out.

Please note that our bank information is sent automatically via an HTML encoded e-mail. If your e-mail account is not set to receive HTML coding, then the bank information you receive will be detailed as a set of symbols and not as a set of numbers. This is because e-mails are not secure and it is not appropriate to send bank information via unsecure e-mails that can be read and accessed by anyone.  Should you not receive the bank information you require, please e-mail us and we can then send the information again in plain text through our secure server. 

NB Please note: Whilst Bank Transfers are debited immediately from a customers bank account, the funds are not credited to our account immediately and may take upto ten working days!  Whilst we appreciate this is frustrating for customers, this is completely outside of our control.  As holders of a business bank account we do not receive any banking transaction details over the weekends and Bank Holidays, therefore, credits made after banking hours on a Friday will not show on our statements until the banks re-open after any given 'Bank' holiday.

Credit Cards & Debit Cards; We accept Credit Cards and Debit Cards processed through Pay Pal or by GoogleCheckout.

We no longer hold our own credit card processing terminal, as the terminals provide little in the way of security for either ourselves or our customers. Whilst Chip & Pin has served to make credit card transactions in stores far safer, terminals accepting payments without Chip & Pin numbers require no personal data to ensure the transaction is being under taken by the card holder. In addition to this, data is transmitted along unsecure telephone lines and for accounting purposes, we are required to hold the credit card details on file. We consider neither practice to provide a secure means of payment.

Google Checkout - Whilst 90% of our customers use Pay Pal to process Credit Card payments, we have added Google Checkout as an alternative facility. Google Checkout is only available to UK customers. Unfortunately at this time, GoogleCheckout conflicts with our need to provide payment in EUROS from our European customers, so we are unable to provide the GoogleCheck out button on our web site, however, if you would like to pay via Google Checkout you can simply pick this option on our payment check-out page and we will forward an invoice by e-mail. On receipt of the payment request, simply click on the link on the e-mail which will transfer you to a secure server to process your payment.  GoogleCheck out works in much the same way as Pay Pal, however, it does not have the same known difficulties as Pay Pal, (especially for aol users) and allows customers a choice.

PayPal - That being a secure on-line facility that enables you to pay via Credit/Debit Card.   You do not have to be registered with PayPal to send us a payment. There is no charge to you, for using PayPal.

Pay Pal offers a secure method by which Credit Card and Debit Card transactions can be processed.  No information is retained on or through our web site and we have no access to your personal information, this is only available to Pay Pal who are regulated by legal codes of conduct.

You do not need a Pay Pal account to make a one-off payment through Pay Pal. Simply follow the instructions given on the left hand side of the screen to process a one-off payment.

If you have a Pay Pal account, registered to the e-mail address that you are using, you will not be able to make a one-off payment. Pay Pal will detect the e-mail address and require you to sign into your Pay Pal account to continue with your transaction.

NB. Customers who make a one-off payment via Pay Pal must click on the 'Return To Merchant' button after making payment. Whilst this process is automatic for Pay Pal account holders, customers who do not hold accounts must manually approve their payment, by law. If the Return to Merchant button is not clicked, orders will not fully complete. This means that shipping addresses, (if different to the billing address), will not register on your order and no Confirmation Of Order e-mail will be sent to you from our web site. As equally, new Pay Pal Terms & Conditions for Business & Premier Account holders changed in August and unverified shipping addresses will not register with our web site. If you are unsure if you are affected by these issues, please place your shipping address, (if different), in the message box at checkout. We do not accept responsibility for issues that arise from the payment methods used by customers because these issues are with a third party and outside of our control.

If you encounter problems with Pay Pal, please contact us via telephone (01249) 443715 or e-mail before becoming frustrated with the Pay Pal process. We not only use Pay Pal as sellers, but also as buyers and many of the known problems are easily resolved.  NB Many employers have a block on Pay Pal transactions in the work place which results in 'server can not be found' or some similar error message!

If you decide you would like to change your method of payment, please e-mail us by 'replying' to the Confirmation of Order we sent you and advise us of any changes you would like to make.  You may do this at anytime within the 'checkout' process.   We are aware that bank web sites and PayPal can be uncopperative at times!

We will despatch all orders upon receipt of a cleared payment.  

UK Postage - Will be charged at a flat rate of £2.00 (inc VAT), regardless of the number of items, or the value of the items you order.

UK Parcels with a higher total order value will be sent via Recorded Delivery or Special delivery.  You will receive an e-mail detailing your parcels Tracking Number, you may track your parcels using the Royal Mail on-line tracking service at  http://www.royalmail.com .  We make no additional charge to customers placing high valued orders that require insured dispatch.

Recorded Delivery and Special Delivery require a signature on receipt of the parcel, if you do not want this method of posting used, please let us know in the 'additional info' box when placing your order.

Please note 'put through the cat flap, leave under the mat or place in the recycling bin' are not acceptable delivery instructions and are not acceptable to Royal Mail 'postmen'.

**UK customers must notify us of non-delivery of goods within seven days of payment being acknowledged. We only use 1st class services and therefore, we need to know as soon as possible of non-delivery**. 

Postage for all international orders, including Southern Ireland, is based upon the order value: £0.01 to £9.00 = £2.50 /  £15.00 to £29.00 = £6.50 International Signed For / £30+ = £8.50 AirSure. The postage charges to customers outside of the EU excludes UK Sales Tax (VAT).

Please would overseas customers note that the value of the postage stamps adhered to their packages is not the total amount we pay in postal costs.  You are very welcome to e-mail and request a breakdown of postal, packaging and processing costs where you believe the stamp value is much lower than the price paid.

Where overseas customers 'over pay' postage, we will refund. This is especially applicable to multiple purchases of light items such as Split Rings, however, we can only make monetary refunds where non Pay Pal account holders pay in GB Pounds Sterling. or US $. Pay Pal do not allow refunds to credit cards that are in a different unit of currency to our account.

(Please note that the postage rates shown on the checkout page are default to showing as $, this is a default error within the web sites templates).

Why do we not offer free postage? Our postal charge is calculated to cover the costs of payment processing (cheque credit and credit card charges), plus packaging materials (envelope, one blue hard shell box, invoice, etc), plus the stamp value and the fees for the collection of our mail. This is then averaged out over a year and this is the fee we charge. What we do not do is offer free postage and then actually collect these costs in the price of each item we sell! Please note that VAT is applied to our UK and EU Postage & Packaging charges.

Contract:   Please would customers kindly note that an order placed on the  internet is as binding as any other purchase and once your order has been confirmed and sent, it forms a contract of sale, should you decide you wish to cancel this contract, you must inform us via e-mail as quickly as possible.   Whilst items are being held for you, they are not available to other customers.
