Charms are the ideal way to celebrate life's milestones and acheivements. The perfect gift to celebrate any occasion.

Charms may be delivered alone or attached to a bracelet, necklace, ring, earrings, bookmark, keyring or brooch. Simply choose your charms, select the accessories you require and tell us at check out how you would like your order assembled. Your piece will be dispatched as the unique and personal gift you wished for.

Sterling Silver charms start from as little as £1.75. A bracelet, with a charm attached, may be purchased from as little as £8.95, complete with a gift box and including postage. A truely unique and personal gift to gift that has the unique ability to symbolise very special memories, whatever the occasion.

NB Please note that to hang a charm from a chain, as a pendant, a Chain Bail is required. Open Jump Rings fitted to charms are not suitable to thread a chain through as the silver ring is 'open' and so the chain will eventually slip through the unsoldered join in the ring.

Please note, if you click on the charms title you will gain access to further details on each charm. If you then click on the small thumb nail picture, you will have access to a much larger picture showing the charm details very clearly. Thumbnail pictures can sometimes appeared blurred, increasing the picture size will remove all blurring that is often caused by the picture being reduced to a thumbnail. Multiple charm purchases are not individually packed in charm boxes. Our packaging charges include just one charm box. Extra Charm Boxes are available to purchase seperately. 

Creating A Unique And Special Piece;

All you need to create a personal piece are the charms and accessories. The designing and creation is a free service. Simply choose the piece you would like your charms attached too, add one *Split Ring for each charm chosen, complete your purchase with a *Presentation Box and we will send your piece complete, as the very personal gift you wish it to be. You may also add a Poem Card and we will gift wrap too! If you would like the gift wrapped, complete with a gift card and sent to the recipient, you may enter a gift address at checkout. Please include a personal message for the gift, state the celebration or sentiment and whether the gift is for an adult or child.

* Please note that we will not dispatch charms attached to any charm holder without a Presentation Box, (and the correct number of Split Rings), being purchased. Our standard hard shell charm boxes are not suitable to send a bracelet, necklace, brooch or bookmark with charms attached through the mail.

Important Hints & Tips;

When wanting to wear a Charm as a pendant on a chain, you will need a Chain Bail. Charms are supplied with an Open Jump Ring, but these are not soldered close and chains will wiggle free through the open ring. Chain Bails are available in our Store and start at just 30p each. When a Charm, Chain and Bail are purchased together, we will send the complete pendant necklace in a presentation box. Please clearly state at checkout which items are to be worn as a pendant necklace, especially when your shopping cart contains several items.

We are happy to mount Charms on Earrings Mounts. 3D Charms or un-directional charms are best suited for earrings. Please consider how the earrings will look if, for example, the charms face only to the right. When Charms and Earrings Mounts are purchased together, we will send the completed earrings in a presentation box. Please state at checkout which items are to be worn as earrings, especially when your shopping cart contains several items.

Charm Bracelets may be as simple or as intricate as you wish. A Figure Eight Bracelet mounted with just one charm, provides simple elegance, whilst a Charm Bracelet may also hold a wealth of memories for someone special, memories depicted in a whole bracelet full of charms.

Enamel Charms and Gem Stone Charms can add a warmth of colour to a bracelet. We will evenly distribute these charms. A single coloured heart charm looks pretty set onto the clasp link of the bracelet. Attached with a very tiny Split Ring, this charm often 'finishes' a bracelet. Our Enamel charms are kiln fired glass enamel.

When ordering more than one initial charm, please remember to detail the order for the initials on checkout. In the case of Letter Key Charms, please remember to detail the name required.

Where charms choosen simply do not look right on a completed bracelet, we will change the charms ensuring that what you receive is as nice as it can be. We will e-mail you and advise which charms we have changed and advise why we have done so. In most cases, it is simply a case of exchanging a very large charm for a small version.

Charm Descriptions and their meanings;

'Hollow' not solid silver

'2D' when viewed from the front or the back, the charm will either be a complete mirror image, or will have a back that is appropriate, i.e. a 2D cat may have a tail. These charms are not at 'thick' and will not stand alone, as 3D charms often do, as they will have two legs, not four, for example.

'3D' a miniature version of the object that ,when viewed from any direction, will depict that object, just as it would in real life. Unless stated as 'Hollow' these charms will be solid Sterling Silver and their weight will be much higher.

Where a charm is not stated as being 2D or 3D, the charm will be hollow or flat backed. The majority of charms are hollow backed or flat backed and it is for this reason that charms are clearly detailed only if they are not standard flat or hollow backed charms.

Additional Charm Information

All our charms, unless otherwise stated, are sterling silver. The majority of our charms are minisimal  and makers marked, however, some puff charms and some very small pieces are not marked as the mark would detract from the design or the space is not available for a mark.  Minisimal marks can also be partially removed in the polishing and finishing process when the marks have been stamped in the product whilst the metal is still soft. These pieces are guaranteed as being sterling silver. If a purchase is dependent upon a clearly defined mark on a piece, please e-mail us and ask us to check our current stock before purchasing.  As required under UK Hallmarking laws, all charms that exceed 7.8 grams are fully hallmarked.

The accurate weight and measurement of any charm may vary from piece to piece, due to the hand casting process. Measurements provided are the approx size of the charm, excluding the attached jump ring or Split Ring.

Multiple purchases of charms are not individually boxed, but sent in one box. If you require individual boxes for charms, for the purpose of giving as gifts, please order 'Extra Charm Boxes'.

All our charms are supplied with an unsoldered jump rings for easy mounting onto your charm bracelet. Please note that unsoldered jump rings require soldering closed to provided a secure attachment of the charm to the charm bracelet. Split Rings, available in our store, provide a less expensive way to securely attach charms. Split Rings are miniture versions of a 'key ring', which not only allow charms to be securely attached, but also allow you to remove and reposition charms as you build your charm bracelet. Some of our new Enamel charms have split rings attached.

Where customers receive charms that have been attached to charm mounts, and therefore the Open Jump Ring is no longer attachable to the charm, the rings will not be supplied separately. Open Jump Rings are supplied free of charge for the convenience of customers purchasing individual loose charms only. Open Jump Rings in sealed packets, that meet Health & Safty regulations, are available to purchase separately from our web site. The Open Jump Rings we make and fit to individual charms before dispatch, can not be sent to customers as seperate items as they do meet Health & Safety regulations, as items in unsealed packages, with unchamfered ends and with undetermined use.

Your charms are far less expensive than other UK sites, why? Does this suggests your charms are not such good quality?

Firstly, you will often see the stock level on new charm designs, as being just one charm. This is because we will not accept the need to order large quantities of charms we have not seen! Every charm on our site must be detailed and really must make a lasting impression when held in a customers hand. Pressed flimsy charms and poorly detailed charms do not make it onto our web site and never will! There is no pleasure for us in selling charms that will not evoke a smile from our customers.

Secondly, in all honesty the pricing is set by our customers. The more charms we sell increases our ability to negotiate better pricing from our manufacturers. We buy direct, where possible we do not use distributors, so there is no middle supplier who is adding their profits to the charms we sell. So the more customers we have and the more charms we sell, the better the prices. Word of mouth is still the most effective way to gain more customers. Personal reccomendations are worth far more than any advertising campaign. Customers will not recommend us if our products and our customer service are not better than expected. So pricing is simply based upon the principal that we can sell at a higher price and sell less. Sell at a lower price, sell more and have the ability to negotiate even lower prices and then sell even more. :)
